I am nothing, in the dark, and the clouds burst to show a daylight at 11:55 PM
I regret.
I'm in a mixed state of feelings right now. Once again, it's nameless. Someone should really come up with a phrase to describe "mixed feelings" because it doesn't sound chim at all. Hmmm. So anyway, I really regret. Tons of things, decisions, choices, etcetera. If only I wasn't too deep in trepidation. Maybe this is for the better? I thought I've gotten over it but glimpses of things related to it still managed to find its spot inside me... Sometimes it stings but I'm trying my best to console myself. Everything will be fine. And if I think like that, nothing can pull me down.
Wish me luck. I have 652 photos to upload... And it's partly my fault due to the procrastination I exercised... Then again, I can't be accounted for all the blame because I have extreme camwhores for classmates and well, maybe I have an extreme camwhoring side to me too. Okay, not maybe. I do :D Since I haven't been blogging a proper post for sometime, here's one (hopefully meaningful) short one. Okay, you know me. My short posts always turn out to as if they were chapters in novels or something. Speaking of novels, I have yet to return these 6 books that I borrowed yesterday. Finished them in a flash and they're now hanging around collecting dust in my room. The bother. If only someone would invent an electronic book-returning system from an individual household.
No, I wouldn't like that actually. Have been contemplating and pondering about technology ever since I saw that 5/6-year-old kid playing Angry Birds on his iPhone. Yes, I repeat,
his. Was dining next to this family that day with Gilford, Zenith, Aurora and Bryony before the former two leave for Ireland, and oh god that kid had his GIRLFRIEND calling him for every 5 to 10 minutes. How did we know? He made sure we did. He even put her on speaker and their conversation comprised of shrieks... Okay, so I can't make out what they're yelling about, but hell did you have to put her on speaker boyboy!? His parents don't seem to give a damn - whut. 10 years ago, when I was 6 and if I were making such a ruckus in public, my mother would never hesitate to shut me up. Oh wait, I wouldn't even be screaming like banshees because my parents would have disciplined me already. The Irony. Do they even cane their kinds nowadays?
Anyway, we couldn't really stand that screaming willow so we rushed on with our meal and found some place to lepak~ And I started cogitating about technology. True, technology may seem to give us a boon in our daily lives. Convenience is really what matters as there are people such as the elderly who are unable to perform some activities on their own. Why do people still like touch-screen? Granted, there was once when even I felt that touch-screen phones were chic and trendy, but those days have long passed. It was irritating trying to get the correct buttons, and the sensitivity of the screen is never at the right level. Why bother with cumbersome measures such as sending it for repair just to adjust the sensitive of the screen when you can FRIGGIN' PRESS them
manually!? Take this as an example: You are smsing like nobody's business in class under your table, and you're not supposed to let the teacher see. How are you able to type everything you want to express confidently without looking at your phone if it's touch-screen!? If you are able to, good for you, but I'd reckon that the bulk of us out there aren't able to. You can train yourself to if you like, but for me it's a waste of time. And yet the phone industry is thriving and reaping in quick cash by introducing all these smart phones and all. Phones with the traditional keypad are rarely seen on retail shelves nowadays and I don't think I can accustom myself to the qwerty keypad, which keys are often too narrow for my liking :(
Okay goodbye. Time to hit the sack :(
